Does your computer have what it takes to run Rift?  We can’t all afford an Alienware, so here are some suggestions.

  • Gaming Mouse – I had not looked at these previously.  There are many different choices, including lefties!  On the Rift Forum someone recommended the Logitech g700 as their mouse of choice.
  • Logitech G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse Logitech G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse

This wireless mouse uses gaming-grade laser technology for game-changing precision at any hand speed. The full-speed wireless connectivity helps eliminate lag for complete wireless freedom.

  • Flat Screen Monitor – essential
  • Dual Monitor choices – makes the flat screen even more essential.  Rift Game supports three (3) monitors!
  • Acer 236

    Acer 236″ 3D Widescreen Flat-Panel TFT-LCD Monitor

Enjoy stunning 3D visuals in your home or office with this monitor that features a 23.6″ screen for a wide viewing area and a 2 ms response time for a clear picture during fast-action sequences.

  • Voice Chat – There is none included with the game.  You can continue to use Ventrilo or Skype as you prefer (both seem to work fine in the background while the Rift client runs).
